My name is Dan Tran and I am a Full Stack Web Developer. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Chemistry and Mathematics degree. I enjoy learning new stuff, which led me to having many hobbies - golf, scuba dive, slack line, salsa, two-step, and hiking. I enjoy traveling to see new places and learning about their culture.
I started my career in the Oil & Gas industry while working to earn a dual degree in both Math and Chemistry. After a change in employment, I decided to pursue something that I'm truly passionate about; logic. This is how I discovered coding. Therefore, I am currently looking for an employment position as a Full-Stack Web Developer.
I work well on my own as well as with others. My previous career in Oil & Gas put me into leadership roles where I managed the Bioassay Lab for 8 years. I learned how to lead my team, and follow the direction of those above me. I'm self-motivated and can handle any solo task, as well.
